Maureen Denise McCormick born 5th August 1956 Woodland Hills California. The one and only one daughter of Richard McCormick. She was raised by an unemployed mother who worked as household worker and father who was a teacher. Michael, Dennis, Kevin and her sister are older. McCormick began dancing and singing at an early age and often performed show-like puppets in front of the kids in her neighbourhood. McCormick landed her first major job in 1964, where she was the star of the first commercial on TV for Mattel's newest doll "Baby Pattaburp." She did another Mattel commercial in 1964 for the "Chatty-Cathy" doll. Shortly afterward, she was cast as the lead role in the show The Brady Bunch: Wind It up and It Breaks at the Playhouse in La Jolla Playhouse. 'The Brady Bunch' In 1969, McCormick was chosen from a field of 1,200 children who had auditioned for the role of the eldest of three towheaded daughters on the new TV show The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed as newlyweds who have a blended family. The show ran for five seasons. McCormick stated in her 2008 memoir"Here's the Story: Surviving Marcia Brady & Finding My True Voice that she was close to having losing her virginity in the fifth season of the show to Barry Williams, her co-star as well as her on-screen brother.
