Her appearance was on two episodes on Showtime's Weeds featuring Mary Louise Parker. Her most well-known roles include her roles in the role of Judy Kramer in Point Pleasant the 2005 show on Fox and also as Marcy Bender in Dawson's Creek. Three years ago, she played Marina Cooper in the soap opera Guiding Light a role which brought her an Soap Opera Digest Awards nomination in 2003, for the Outstanding Newcomer. Between 2007 and 2008, Dollar appeared as Cindy Thomas on the ABC television show Women's Murder Club. Dollar was on the show as Happy Valley, a pilot for NBC in the year 2012. The show was never picked up.
