Shay Mitchell

Shay Mitchell has been a Canadian actress, model, and entrepreneur for over ten years. She is most well-known for her character on Freeform's Pretty Little Liars as Emily Fields. Shay Lo became a popular name in the eyes of Jennifer Lopez Mitchell fans. As a child she discovered a passion of performing arts. She spoke to her parents about her dream of having a career. After exceling in dance and modeling her passion for modeling, she decided to try her hand at acting, and started acting lessons in Toronto. Mitchell was able to land a couple of commercials. She also had in guest roles on TV series. Her breakthrough came when she was asked to play as Emily Fields. The show was highly praised both for her performance and the fans. Then, she made her mark in the world of film with Dreamland as well as Mother's Day. She starred in psychological thriller series You that earned her wider recognition. Shay Mitchell also has a writing career. Along with Michaela Blayne she wrote an adult novel called Bliss.
