Lucy Lawless is a well-known actor and singer who hails from New Zealand. Her name is most well-known in her field for her illustrious role in several top-rated TV shows and films, such as Xena: Warrior Princess, Spartacus: Blood and Sand, Spartacus: Gods of the Arena and Spartacus: The Vengeance. In her role as an actress, she's most remembered and praised for her role she played in Xena. Lucy ended up playing the role as Vanessa Angel after Vanessa was unwell and was unable to take part in the film. It was a success in that Lucy's portrayal of Xena was the catalyst for a spinoff to air in September of 1995. Lucy's popularity as an actor grew after this spin-off. The show was a massive hit in terms of ratings as well as culture. Her most well-known role is playing Diane Lewis-Swanson in the popular sitcom on NBC Parks and Recreation, which was her role from 2012 to 2015.
